Omni Federal Register Notice (87 FR 60821)
This notice governs Community Development Block Grant disaster recovery (CDBG–DR) funds awarded under several appropriations. Specifically, this notice provides waivers and establishes alternative requirements for certain grantees that have submitted waiver requests for grants provided pursuant to Public Laws.

PG&E DOB Settlement Write-Up
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) agreed to a settlement with firms representing individual claimants who sustained losses from the 2015 Butte Fire, 2017 Northern California Wildfires and 2018 Camp Fire. This write-up allowed HUD to provide input on whether these claims could be considered a Duplication of Benefit.

Consolidated Notice Policy Questions
On October 29, 2021, HUD
allocated over $2 billion in CDBG–DR funds for disasters occurring in 2020. This document tackles specific Policu Questions that were sent to the Policy Unit after the Consolidated Notice was published.

CDBG-DR Basics for FEMA MOU
In response to Presidentially declared disasters, Congress may appropriate additional funding for CDBG-DR grants to rebuild most impacted and distressed areas and provide critical funds to start the long-term recovery process. This document summarizes CDBG-DR and the basic requirements for an MOU opportunity with FEMA.
