Penn State's Indo-Pak: Reviving the Bond
Executed the idea for the first ever, large-scale collaboration between Pakistani Students Association (PSA) and Indian Culture and Language Club (ICLC) at Penn State. Employed rigorous sales tactics to manage a budget of $2000 and make a profit of $900 from ticket sales. Also supervised an eight-person marketing committee, coordinated outreach activities, and created products such as: an event website, a Facebook page, brochures, flyers, an Instagram hashtag, a Snapchat geofilter, and a YouTube live stream.
Traffic & Pedestrian Safety Campaign State College
Worked in collaboration with the Pennsylvania State University Police, the State College Area School District, and the Sustainable Communities Collaborative to conduct studies about traffic and pedestrian behaviors in State College, PA. Created a Campaign Pitch and assigned individual responsibilities for all eighteen members. Produced deliverables including a PR campaign, a comprehensive research report on all major findings, and a data analysis of all prior traffic campaigns/measures.
This campaign won the award for “Best Visual Presentation” at the 2015 Sustainable Communities Collaborative EXPO!
County College of Morris Fall 2018 Open House
Re-imagined the Fall 2018 Open House which drastically changed the layout to include a fair of all academic departments and all student-facing units. Introduced a new campus tour layout with options for general and department-specific tours. The event’s many improvements led to 161 submitted applications (a 5% increase from last year’s OH applications) from a total of 370 student attendees and over 900 total attendees.
Penn State York's Unity Week 2012 and 2013
Coordinated all event logistics for both year’s Unity Weeks and introduced new events including Holi, Hispanic Dancing Lessons, Bollywood Night, Multicultural Showcase, Classical Music Concert, and International Fashion Show. Supervised multiple teams that took care of publicity, set-up, and clean-up for all Unity Week events and communicated in a convincing manner in order to attract coverage from York Daily Record, York Dispatch and the local Fox news channel.
